Winter storm warning issued for metro Denver, foothills

Boulder’s Nationwide Climate Service has issued a winter storm warning for the Denver metropolitan space, hill nation and alongside the Palmer Divide.

Heavy, moist snow falls over a lot of the area, and in a single day snowfall may be 1 to 2 inches per hour.
